About the app

Short description

Odyz is a privacy-first travel tracker for iPhone and iPad. It turns the photos already on your phone into trips, a 3D map and a digital passport of every country and city you've been to, and it collects a stamp for every place you visit. There is no account to create, and your travel history is processed on your device.

Long description

Most trips end up as a few hundred photos in a camera roll. Odyz turns them back into a travel story. It reads where and when your photos were taken, groups them into trips, and keeps your map, passport and stats up to date as you take new photos. There are no check-ins to make and no spreadsheets to keep.

The digital passport brings your travels together: continents, countries and cities visited, how much of the world you've explored, trips taken, days traveling, photos taken and distance traveled, in light and dark modes. You can compare your passport with a friend's to see where your travels overlap.

The 3D map is a city tour of your own trips. Your photos are pinned right where they were taken, inside landmarks or out on the street, from the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre to San Francisco. A travel timeline lists every trip by year, with photos from each city, and the world map lights up with a pin for every place you've been. Odyz covers all 193 UN countries and many more territories, and every new place adds a collectible landmark stamp.

Odyz does not need an account or an email address. Your travel history is processed and stored on your device.

Odyz Turns Your Travel Photos Into A Visual Passport To Enjoy

“Anyone who enjoys travel knows how essential an iPhone is to capturing great photos of the trip. But many times, some great shots end up in our Camera Roll never to be seen again. The new app Odyz wants to help changes that.”
